"It’s been years since I lived in Portland, and a weekend away feels like a rare opportunity to play around in a city. With my husband, Garrett, and our six-year-old daughter, Juno in tow, we decide to focus our visit on new eateries and old favorites."
"Check-in at our temporary home is done entirely via our smartphones. We park our car in the lot behind Novare Res and head up to our apartment in the newly restored (and award-winning) Boyd Building. The Docent’s Collection is hosting us this weekend, and they’ve done a wonderful job outfitting the lobby and hallways with pieces by local artists, including works by Shoshannah White and Jocelyn Lee. We’re staying on the third floor in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with views of Tommy’s Park. It’s perfect for our family of three."
