Yes. Convenient parking is available in lots near your loft for $60 per night, which you can add when you book direct. Having parking arranged ahead of time means an easy arrival with no need to search for a space. Metered street parking is also available nearby if you prefer to use it while loading and unloading.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on your day of arrival. To make your arrival seamless, please text us about 10 minutes before you arrive so we can be ready.

Early check-in may be available on request and is subject to availability. Please contact our team in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

When you arrive, our team will meet you at the main entrance of your loft’s address and help you get settled. If you prefer a digital key, we can arrange one once you complete the online check-in, which is sent via email at least 48 hours before arrival. Once complete, you will be able to access your digital key via our app. Please note that digital keys are available when booking directly with the property.

If you expect to arrive after 11:00 PM, please contact our team in advance so we can coordinate access and ensure a smooth late-evening arrival.

Yes. Every loft includes complimentary WiFi. Connect to the network named “The Docent’s Collection” and follow the prompt in your browser to get online.

Yes. Every loft is set up for streaming, so you can sign in to your own streaming accounts and watch on the TV during your stay.

Yes. Every loft has a full kitchen with modern appliances, cookware, and cutlery. You will also find sample packs of locally roasted coffee for the French press, and a NutriBullet is available on request. Some lofts have induction burners, which require compatible pots and pans.

For local ingredients, nearby options include Micucci Grocery, the Portland Co-op, and the Portland Farmers Market.

Most bathrooms include a glass-door standing shower, freshly laundered towels and robes, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and paper products, plus a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Yes. We provide pack-n-plays and highchairs on request. Please let our team know what you need when you book or before your arrival and we will have it ready. For additional family items, we recommend Baby’s Away, a local rental service for cribs, strollers, car seats, and other gear.

Yes. All of our buildings have elevators. The only variation is the entry at 121 Middle Street.

Accessibility varies by loft, as our buildings date back to the late 1800s. Features available in our accessible lofts include step-free entry, roll-in shower, elevator or stair access, and bathroom configuration. Yes. Our team is happy to share local recommendations and help you plan your time in Portland. You will also receive curated suggestions in the welcome text our team sends a few days before your arrival. Reach out any time before or during your stay.

Each loft is fully cleaned and sanitized before your arrival. During your stay you will find basic cleaning supplies in the loft, including dishwasher tablets, soaps, and fresh towels. For stays of five nights or more, we provide weekly cleaning, and additional cleaning is available on request during the day.

Pets are welcome in select lofts. Simply add the number of pets to your booking and pet-friendly lofts will display. A non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $150 per stay is applied to your final invoice.

Yes. Please review our Code of Conduct before your arrival so every guest has a positive experience.

Checkout is at 11:00 AM on the final day of your stay. Before you go, kindly:

• Pack all of your belongings and any gifts
• Place trash in the kitchen receptacles
• Leave used towels on the bathroom floor
• Load used dishes into the dishwasher, with no need to start the cycle
