Occupants and guests of The Docent’s Collection shall abide by the rules listed within this Code of Conduct during their stay. Property management and property owner(s) reserve the right to collect damages and/or remove any individuals from the property, without refund, who are in violation of this Code of Conduct.
SMOKING
The Docent’s Collection is 100% smoke-free. The Docent’s Collection reserves the right to charge penalties and cleaning fees of up to $1,000 per occurrence should there be any evidence of smoking during your stay in your Urban Home.
PET POLICY
The Docent’s Collection does not accept pets at any location. Guests who violate this policy may be asked to leave and will be billed for additional cleaning fees.
KEYS & OVERNIGHT GUESTS
Digital keys for are provided through the FLEXIPASS Keyless Entry App and registered to individual devices. Keys for this residence will be provided only to registered overnight guests. Overnight guests shall provide full name and phone number to receive a key. Additional per person charges shall apply for overnight guests not registered to your room. Keys will expire at our standard check out time of 11 am.
VISITORS
Guests are permitted up to two (2) visitors at any given time during the hours of 7 am and 10 pm. Visitors shall always be accompanied by registered guest(s).
NOISE
Guests and visitors may not create excessive noise within their Urban Home or in common areas throughout the building. Should excessive noise disturb other guests, visitors, or tenants of any building, we reserve the right to charge penalties of $250 plus the cost-of-service recovery items incurred for other guests, visitors, or tenants.
CLEANING
Your Urban Home will be thoroughly inspected and cleaned after the reservation departure date. Excessive cleaning of a residence shall be billed to registered guest(s) at $250 per overtime hour plus loss of revenues from inability to host arriving guests, and additional cleaning supplies.
DAMAGE
Each Urban Home includes premium furnishings and artwork from various Maine companies. Damages to furniture, artwork, kitchen appliances & supplies, lighting, and electronics, and other furnishings will be billed to registered guests at cost of the item plus any related taxes, shipping, and installation costs. Should you notice damages upon arrival, please contact the staff immediately.
CANDLES
No open flames are allowed inside your Urban Home.
MONITORING EQUIPMENT
The Docent’s Collection is equipped with High-Definition cameras in all public areas. These cameras record 24 hours per day. Hallways are equipped with decibel readers at select intervals and will notify management, in real-time, of excessive noise in public spaces.
