Introducing the Docent’s Dossier
The Docent’s Collection is pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Docent’s Dossier,’ an exclusive hospitality package that provides guests with a curated itinerary of Portland’s newest and most beloved dining, activities, and cultural attractions.
Created to pair with the unique hospitality model offered at The Docent’s Collection, the Docent’s Dossier aims to provide guests with a culturally rich stay. The activities and reservations that comprise each Dossier are chosen by the hospitality brand’s local concierge team, selecting three to four experiences that showcase the best of Portland’s culinary, arts, or cultural landscape. From waterfront sails along Casco Bay to gallery showings in the Old Port, each Dossier is carefully curated to offer an insider’s perspective on Portland’s top and trending spots.
The first Docent’s Dossier package is now live, providing guests with tickets to explore the Portland Museum of Art’s latest exhibit or a tour at the Homer Winslow Studio, dinner reservations at Franciska on Middle Street, and morning pastry deliveries from a local bakery. Reservations, tickets, and arrangements are handled by The Docent’s Collection’s concierge team.
The introduction of the Docent’s Dossier follows the successful launch of the hospitality brand’s latest expansion at 178 Middle Street, historically known as the Boyd Block. The 16 new private lofts are ideally located, sitting within Old Port Square and centered within the bustling, historic Old Port neighborhood. The Docent’s Collection is also set to welcome three additional lofts at the conjoining building, 184 Middle Street, in the coming months.
“The location of The Docent’s Collection makes the launch of the Docent’s Dossier even more meaningful, as guests stay steps away from all that the Old Port has to offer,” said Avery Windham, General Manager at The Docent’s Collection. “We look forward to introducing our guests, whether first-time visitors or regulars, to an elevated and distinctive experience by way of the Docent’s Dossier.”
